kris (how do we "ex"-ify kris? ie xta, xtian, xtine... so kris is just x? haha wala lang.)!!! kris thank you for fixing the computer. :) so i wasn't actually computer-less the entire week after all. but i was sans internet becuase a) meralco got around to restoring electric power only last wednesday - night pa! and b)i'm totally whacked-out broke. i sent papa a drama laden email about this, and his idea of a reply (or a solution) is a powerpoint file about overcoming obstacles. it's funny but i'm not laughing. my parents aren't really the type who'd give money for shopping,and I get that, but sometimes i wish they'd give more credit for the better things we (I) do, and not dismiss it "all" as money-eating things. it's a shame that we're having these misunderstandings because we don't have funds. some people are luckier.

[we've a problem. this will be my last post for at least a week. because i'm leaving behind this worm-infested portable here in marikina. blame my too-large-and-unwieldy baggage: you should see my back-to-elbi bag. i rummaged my closet for clothes to donate (for the milenyo project) and to sell (for the parliament's garage sale). i feel like a new person haha. LOL.]

and as if that One Up There is already thanking me for my good deed *blink blink*, I just got my post-post-post birthday gift from the choir. heehee thanks. hehe. gawd, i'm not really bored yet from staying home almost all day. and that's what bothers me. i know i SHOULD be out there spreading LOVE and PEACE or blowing money at the very least, or better yet, letting my friends know that i love them and i still care for them and i wanna know what's up with them, but here i am, pretty pig, editing pictures. i can grow old easily, i think. haha

or maybe this is one of those funk stage things again. geesh.

i have a new little neighbor named ina. she's from quezon and her parents are now both working abroad so she's staying with her aunt and uncle. Tito Nestor is my tito's sabong buddy so Ina's always here at our place when they've to go somewhere. Yeye, the youngest in the house (highschool na siya! :D) has taken on the role of Ina's surrogate ate, and the rest of us just enjoy talking to her and watching her because she's such a smart observant little kid. :) i can't help remembering what i felt like when i was her age, and remembering that i was as observant and un-shy and all, and how everyone liked me then, and how everything was nice then (she's three). anyway, it's not like i want to be three again, it just feels funny-nice remembering. and it also feels surreal that everything's so darn different now. gah. :D

inna's so cute. the first time i met her, she walked up to me and played with my hair even before she said hello. then when i introduced myself to her as ate pop (that's what i get called at home), she didn't hear it well and now she calls me ate paruparo all the time. :D then the other day she was looking intently at me while i was reading the storyteller (for eng4), then she said, "ang laki ng mata!" rarr. you know what else she found huge? ahloy's hands, ahlee's face (!), and bolle in general, who received this remark from her: "ang yabang maglakad." hehe. kids say the darndest things.

i woke up good today. :)

paano kaya ito - because classes and finals week will all move in the calendar, our schedules would surely clash with the ndc on the 23rd. truth is, i was already preparing my head for the probablity that i might not participate - i'm a skint student and i've no funds, and neither do my parents. x-p sayang. it's gonna be freaky debating right up there with debaters from all over the country, but if i'm not gonna work at it now, when? right? gawd. wish i had a fairy god ninong or something :D
